Event description
Join us for “Kaartdijiny Boodja” - Learning from Country at Springdale Tunnel Beach
The Denmark Environment Centre warmly invites you to a special morning of connection, learning, and exploration at Springdale Beach. This unique event celebrates the natural and cultural heritage of Kwoorabup / Denmark with a guided walk, storytelling, and creativity.
Led by Aunty Averil and Lindsay Dean, Angela and Andrew Dickinson from South Coast Bush Carers, local artist Freya Parre, and a representative from the Denmark Bird Group, you’ll gain insights into the rich environmental and cultural significance of Wilson Inlet and Springdale Beach. Discover the birdlife along the inlet, learn about local flora and fauna, and contribute to a collaborative community art piece inspired by this remarkable landscape.
