Event description

This event is to give back to family and friends in the community ❤

⚠What to Bring⚠

  • Something comfy to lay on (Yoga mat, blanket, pillows)
  • Additional blanket is always great to cover yourself (more to feel safe rather than warm)
  • Water
  • Comfy clothes - If you're going out after you will have time to get changed following the session

⚠What not to bring⚠

  • Please don't come under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Bring your phone but please make sure it's off or on airplane mode before session starts
  • Strong cologne/perfume - not talking about deodorant, please in this heat wear that 🙏
  • Any jewelry or accessories that may be distracting to others throughout the session

What is a sound bath?

For anyone that hasn't experienced a sound bath before - basically you need to lay down and get comfy - it's the most important step for you and pretty much the only one. The more comfortable you feel, the better the experience.
The 'bath' component refers to the sound waves that 'wash' over you throughout the session. Sound Baths can be run with a variety of different instruments or even voice and the purpose is to help you relax and drop in to a deep meditative state. Through slowing down, connecting and acknowledging yourself, your body and mind can highlight and begin to let go of things that are being unnecessarily held on to. I utilise the gongs as I've found them to be incredibly powerful, but also accompany them with some lighter instruments to bring you out of that state gently.

Some prefer to call these events a sound healing - I do not. I certainly believe in the healing properties of sound and if you're interested in finding out more, I'd encourage you to do some research yourself 😉 But our bodies have the incredible ability to heal themselves, physically and mentally. It is the body/mind that is doing the healing, perhaps sound is just highlighting where there may be a wound that needs attention?

Event Flow

  1. Welcome to enter from 6.30pm - make yourself comfortable
  2. Please ensure you arrive and are settled prior to 7pm, as we will close the doors to not distract anyone
  3. After a brief introduction, sound bath will start and run for approximately 45 mins, leaving 10-15 mins of silence to allow people to slowly come back and wake up if needed
  4. At approximately 8pm, the sound bath will conclude. There will space for anyone to speak of their experiences should they wish to and some herbal tea available in the kitchen
  5. 8.30pm I will be packing down and cleaning before leaving, but we are near the beach for anyone that feels like a walk or to continue discussing their experience with others
