December Webinar - Margie McCumstie's "I Am Me... Naturally!"

We're excited to announce the last of our Webinar Series for 2022! Ending the year on a fun note, we have an author talk with Margie McCumstie. After learning she was intersex this year and noticing a lack of children's reources, Margie used her background in Early Childhood to produce the children's book "I am me... Naturally!" Launched on Intersex Awareness day, this charming book looks at examples of sex diversity in nature to help build understanding and acceptance of intersex diversity. Join us for a reading of the book followed by a conversation diving into the importance of media representation, childhood empowerment, and the process of writing a childrens book dealing with challenging topics.
