WHAT IF CHANGING YOUR LIFE STARTS WITH CHANGING YOUR STORY?

Perhaps there's an area of your life that you know needs to change. It could be your career, your relationships, your health, your sense of purpose or even your confidence.

Whatever it may be, we all have that niggling feeling from time to time that we need to change something.

It might go something like this: You begin by changing your goals, habits, routines, strategies, relationships, perhaps even move to a new city. However, despite your best intentions, you inevitably find yourself falling back into the same patterns.

Why does this often happen?

Because underneath our behaviours are the stories we've learned to live by. The stories that define what we deserve, what we are capable of, what's possible for us, or even what we need to be loved, successful or safe.

The real kicker? Most of these stories were never consciously chosen by us. They were the invisible rules that we picked up through our childhood, social conditioning or even our life experiences, and whether we like it or not, they profoundly shape our lives.

WHAT IS 'DECODE YOUR STORY'?

'Decode Your Story' is a free, interactive workshop designed to help you recognise the hidden stories, beliefs and patterns that may be quietly shaping the way you think, feel, relate and make decisions.

Together, we’ll explore what we mean by a “story,” how these stories are formed, and how they can continue influencing us long after we’ve forgotten where they came from. Through guided reflection, discussion and practical examples, you’ll begin noticing the subtle clues that reveal what may be happening beneath the surface of your everyday behaviour.

This workshop is not about forcing yourself to change, fixing yourself, or being told how to live your life. It’s about becoming more curious about why you are the way you are and developing greater awareness of the stories you may have been unconsciously living from.

WHO IS IT FOR?

If you’ve ever caught yourself thinking, “Why do I keep doing this?”, “Why do I keep ending up in the same situations?” or “I know what I should do… so why don’t I do it?” this workshop is for you.

It’s for anyone who feels stuck in the same loops, like life has become a version of Groundhog Day; anyone who senses they’re capable of more but keeps getting in their own way; or anyone simply ready to take the driver's seat of their life.

You don’t need any prior experience or knowledge. Just bring an open mind, some curiosity, and a willingness to look beneath the surface.

And there’s no pressure to share or participate in any exercise. You’re welcome to engage at your own pace. Of course, the more you put into the experience, the more you’re likely to get from it.

WHAT WE WILL ACTUALLY COVER

• What are stories on the deepest level and how do they impact our lives

• Where do our patterns come from

• Personality vs. Character; and how knowing this nuance can change your life

• How our greatest strengths can also become our prison, and

• Potential live demonstrations of decoding subconscious patterns (contingent on volunteers)

Date: Thursday, 8th of October - 6:30-7:30pm, doors open at 6:20pm, come a bit earlier so we can have a chat!

Location: East Sydney Community and Arts Centre, 34-40 Burton St, Darlinghurst NSW 2010

Cost: Free! Although please register to secure your spot. Spots are limited to ensure a more intimate environment.

Hello! I'm Damien and I'm the founder of 'Your Life Satori' - a purpose-driven business that helps empower people to live more consciously with more flow and fulfilment.

I've started my career in leadership development then transitioned to acting, now I'm merging both to help guide people to live their best lives.
