Deconstructing a Landscape with Sarah Ellis-Steinborner
Event description
A St Andrew's Wellbeing Centre program for Members.
Research shows that exposure to nature reduces stress and enhances feelings of well-being.
In this workshop, local artist Sarah Ellis-Steinborner will guide you through the process of simplifying and abstracting a landscape from a photo, creating a peaceful artwork that captures the essence of nature. You will start with photos that Sarah has taken around South Australia, but if time allows, feel free to bring your own to practice with. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a unique, small painting that reflects your own creativity and connection to the natural world.
Absolute beginners are welcome. If you’ve never touched a paintbrush, or you’ve had lots of experience, all are welcome.
All materials are provided. Please wear something you're happy to get paint on. Workshops can be delivered in Auslan.
