This 2-day workshop is designed for practitioners and leaders to increase their awareness and understanding of the patterns of behaviour and dynamics of power that show up with engaging First Nations and other Australians leading together.
Throughout the workshop series participants will:
Be provided with preparation activities and readings to increase cultural awareness
Work in small groups to deepen learning application in own context
Have unstructured reflection time to consolidate learning
Who is it for?
- People with existing cultural competency experience and/or training, including experience working in a cross-cultural context
- People leading initiatives that require working across differences and include First Nations people
- People who are seeking to improve understanding about the power and conflict dynamics in the systems with First Nations and other Australians
When?
This online short course will comprise of 2 days x 4.5-hour workshop series on
8 and 9 June 2022, 9 – 11am and 2 – 4:30pm
