Description

Deep Space is an evening devoted to carving out a courageous and heartful path to genuine connection—with ourselves and with each other.

Through a series of artfully guided relational experiences, we will attend closely to what is happening in the living moment. The invitation is to get curious about the subtle shifts of feeling and sensation, the habitual means of protection, and the quieter places where something beautiful is shyly waiting in the wings to announce itself.

Deep Space can be everything from touching and reverent to playful and hilarious. But more than anything, the work asks for courage—not as bravado or performative disclosure, but rather as the profound act of staying connected when certainty drops away, It requires a willingness to be impacted, to let another human matter, and to remain in relationship even as we feel exposed, vulnerable, or uncomfortable with the otherness of the other.

This is a gathering for those who sense that something essential lives beneath the surface of ordinary interaction and are willing to surrender into it as an embodied practice, without needing to master it.

We invite you to come experience the alchemy of poetic encounter, and to trust the emergence of more dynamic possibility out on the relational frontier.

FAQs

  • What actually happens in Deep Space?

Deep Space is a guided, experiential evening. We gather in a circle and move through a sequence of simple relational games and exercises, with clear instructions and gentle pacing, sometimes together with the group, or other times in smaller groups or as dyads. Most of the practices involve being in conversation or shared attention with one or two other people at a time. Sometimes you’ll be speaking; sometimes you’ll be listening; sometimes you’ll be invited to notice what’s happening in your body or inner experience as you relate. The focus is not on performance, self-improvement, or “getting it right,” but on presence - on slowing down enough to meet yourself and others more honestly. You won’t be asked to share anything you don’t want to share. Every exercise includes choice, and opting out or adapting a prompt is always welcome. Some moments may feel quiet or subtle; others may feel playful, tender, or surprisingly meaningful. The atmosphere is intentional, respectful, and human. Facilitators guide the flow of the evening, set clear containers, and help the group transition between experiences. There is no lecturing, no group therapy, and no pressure to have a particular kind of experience. People often leave feeling more connected - to themselves, to others, and to something quietly alive that’s easy to forget in daily life.

  • Is this like group therapy?

No. Deep Space is not therapy, processing, or fixing. It’s a practice space for awareness and connection.
