Deepening the Experience of Christmas - SCHOOLS

Bernadette will lead us in exploring how symbolism in art and story can reveal the deeper spiritual background of Christmas. We will look at works of art from Neolithic sun symbols to Celtic Crosses, and from icons to Medieval and Renaissance paintings to discover their universal symbolic meaning and so gain a deeper understanding of the Christmas Festival.

As we prepare for Christmas, this work can inspire us to find a deeper inner connection to Christmas and to discover meaningful creative ways of celebrating the festival in our own homes.
