Defend Treaty Doorknocking Blitz
Description
Jess Wilson and the Liberal Party have pledged to rip up Treaty with First Peoples if elected this November. But our communities won't stand for it.
Join us for a big community doorknocking blitz across Melbourne's eastern suburbs to talk with voters about why Treaty is something to celebrate, and collect signatures on our petition to defend Treaty.
We'll have teams of volunteers in Kew, Hawthorn and surrounding electorates: knocking as many doors as possible. The number of volunteers who sign up will determine how many teams we form. You'll receive an email and phone call at least one week before the event confirming your meeting point and contact person.
We'll provide a briefing and training session, before supporting you to head out with a partner and have conversations, followed by a debrief.
