DELINQUENT VI ft. Connor Wall | WISER. | Pristiq
Event description
DELINQUENT VI
Featuring DJ Connor Wall, WISER. & Pristiq
Saturday 19 October, 2024, 10pm to 3am
(Basement doors open 9:30pm)
284 Smith St Collingwood
DELINQUENT: a subterranean dance rave with a fierce club kid and kink aesthetic. Now a fixture in the abandoned underground bunker at 284 Smith Street Collingwood
Picture this: an intimate, dimly lit space; uniform worship; exhibitionism; outrageous underground club scene styles; nudity. And dirty, filthy, techno music
A dance party for modern people - but with suspiciously queer undertones
Dress code (suggested but not mandatory): latex, naked, jocks, underwear, pups, leather, club kid, drag
sex-positive / clothing optional / techno heavy / gender inclusive
Cloak room available. You can play anywhere (except the loo cubicles) - as long as play is consensual
// Line-up //
// Connor Wall
Despite his age, Connor Wall has already established himself as a pivotal force in Naarm’s techno scene. In the booth, he’s supported heavyweight acts like Freddy K, Norman Nodge, Roi Perez and Amotik, delivering a relentless mixing style at every major club in the city
On the production front, Wall’s relentless creativity has forged a sound that’s thunderous, intense, and unmistakably his own, with releases on labels like Amsterdam’s Float Records, Glasgow’s Oscillator One, and Naarm’s Bomphcast Audio plus Connection Verified. His work pulses with a visceral energy, marking him as a thrilling figure on the rise
// WISER.
Strange, self-managed & not so serious
From Piknic Elektronik to Esoteric, her deep love of providing the unexpected means a true WISER set will lock you in for a wild ride, where no genre or tempo is off limits - she is as comfortable providing a slow, warm and groove filled opening set to a handful of lucky humans, as she is playing a peak time festival slot to thousands
Always up for an adventure, WISER has had the honour of touring throughout Germany, Taiwan, Japan, Amsterdam, Portugal, New Zealand & the UK, with headline shows across Australia keeping her inspired outside of her beloved Melbourne home.
// Pristiq
Pristiq is an actor, model and DJ who has thrived in the Sydney and Melbourne scenes for the last eight years, whose broad background in music has reached from 90s RNB and old school rap through to their current influences in the electronic, disco, house, and techno scene
Starting off playing Sydney’s LGBTQIA venues, Pristiq harnessed an eclectic mix of crowd-pleasing bangers to get the dancefloor pumping. Now residing in Melbourne, Pristiq has brought her inimitable style to events such as The GQ Awards, The Sydney Mardi Gras and Pride Week as well as Sydney and Melbourne Fashion Weeks
Pristiq’s sensibility to read any room and vibe ensures that each experience is perfectly suited, no matter the event. From pumping sweaty dancefloors, elegant high-end restaurants, corporate events, festivals, weddings, birthday parties – with her bubbly personality and willingness to keep the vibe up, Pristiq is sure to fulfil any brief thrown her way
