    Event description

    DELINQUENT VII

    Featuring DJ Estée Louder + Neo + Goat Spokesperson

    Saturday 9 November, 2024, 10pm to 3am
    Basement, 284 Smith St Collingwood 3066

    DELINQUENT
    : a subterranean dance rave with a fierce club kid and kink aesthetic. Now a fixture in the abandoned underground bunker at 284 Smith Street Collingwood

    Picture this: an intimate, dimly lit space; uniform worship; exhibitionism; outrageous underground club scene styles; nudity. And dirty, filthy, techno music

    A dance party for everyone - but with suspiciously queer undertones

    Dress code (suggested but not mandatory): latex, naked, jocks, underwear, pups, leather, club kid, drag

    sex-positive / clothing optional / techno heavy / gender inclusive

    Cloak room available. You can play anywhere (except the loo cubicles) - as long as play is consensual

    // Estée Louder

    Estée Louder is a Australian-based artist, event producer and dance-floor enthusiast, entertaining audiences for the past decade. She is revered for her ability to create a bespoke party experience depending on the audience, oscillating between dance-floor classics, disco hits and camp club anthems to cool club beats and indie faves

    Establishing her career in Melbourne, Estée Louder has earned her way into some of Australia’s best festivals, events and arts establishments. Significant mentions include Sydney Mardi Gras, Secret Garden Festival, Dark Mofo, Art Gallery of NSW, Pavlova Bar, Melbourne Music Week, Melbourne Fashion Week, Australian Fashion Week and Falls Festival. She has ventured to Europe headlining at ADAM Berlin for Folsom, Tokyo, New York and London and playing various events along the way

    When she’s not spinning at premiere club nights in Sydney or Melbourne and festivals (Vivid Live, Falls Festival and Melbourne Music Week, Folsom Europe), weekly you can find her curating tunes at a variety of dining and drinking hotspots to a mixture of clientele, from sophisticated types and professionals to grungy hipsters

    // Neo

    In a scene that is bursting at the seams with new talent across the electronic music spectrum, it’s often hard for listeners to differentiate what they hear against the buzzing backdrop of artistry in the 21st century. It’s even hard for these artists to cut through, an create something that is genuinely gripping, evocative, and unique. Few possess the handle that Neo does, which is to precisely design sounds that move your body and bend your brain in ways they have not previously done

    Neo’s approach to techno is new, and ever evolving. It’s sound and aim is to push the boundaries of what sound can do mentally, emotionally and physically. To conjure something deeper within that bridges to the unknown and yet stays familiar and tasteful

    Having only put out a select few releases on local Naarm labels such as Bomphcast Audio and Connection Verified – Neo was able to gain the imminent international attention early on. Most recently releasing a thumping EP on Berlin based Treatment Records, he’s already managed to shape a sound that is thrilling, emotional, and sonically sublime. With years of experience behind the controls, Neo is one not to miss

    // Goat Spokesperson

    Over the last six years Naarm-based DJ Goat Spokesperson has cultivated a truly distinctive sound, grounded in an irreverent sense of humour and the steadfast belief that dancing is a vital part of being human

    Goat Spokesperson has quickly established himself as a staple in the queer dance party scene. The turning point came when he was asked to support the iconic NYC duo The Illustrious Blacks, and then the iconic Jennifer Loveless, at the Gadigal Sunday night institution, Pavlovabar

    He has become a fixture at the notorious Trough parties, closing the main room both alone and alongside Naarm superstar Jack Hardmën. Regular gigs at ADAM, Barba, Blänke Pøp, Homo, and HOMO EROTICA, have earnt him growing local recognition and praise

    His first international gig, ADAM Berlin opening Folsom Europe in 2022 signalled the next stage in his career, and a sign of great things to come
