Deloitte/FinTechNZ : PulseCheck Open Banking Report Release report

This event has passed Register

Event description

Deloitte and FinTechNZ, invite you to join us for the launch of this important report focusing on the current and future projections for Open Banking in Aotearoa/New Zealand.

Adopting a qualitative approach to canvassing views from across the wider ‘banking and payments sector’ the report provides a targeted snapshot of how New Zealand organisations and FinTechs are working, or would like to work with Financial service providers.

Projected to be updated annually, this first ’22 report drills down on views that include banks as well as the wider ecosystem, crossing payments, views on the state of Open API’s, FinTechs and other methods of providing innovative Financial services.

The report is especially timely as New Zealand plans to progress towards the enactment of proposed CDR legislation early next year. This is the third partner generated report this year purposefully designed to assist and inform the market on the true state of play of Open Finance sector development.

For further information on previous publications please see the FinTechNZ Aotearoa Open Finance and Digital Equity Report here and the TIN100 FinTech report here.

Opened by FinTechNZ the Deloitte team will then provide an overview of the process and findings and then cross over to a wider panel discussion with in-market Open Finance companies Envestnet Yodlee  and Akahu.

Introduction from Jason Roberts, ED for FinTechNZ

Report overview from the Deloitte team lead by Stephen Clay outlining the Method, findings and observations

A panel discussion from two Open Finance leaders

At the completion of the webinar, the downloadable report will be available to all FinTechNZ members and attendees.

We look forward to launching this important report with the FinTech community.
