What this Cover Crop Field Walk will offer:
Join RegenWA for an engaging afternoon exploring regenerative agriculture. The event begins with a visit to Millbrook Avocados where you’ll learn about innovative avocado farming techniques. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon tea at Oranje Tractor Wines before exploring all things cover crops!

Mark Tupman will present an informative session on the role of cover crops in soil health, biodiversity, and regenerative agriculture. Then, take a guided walk through Murray Gomm's working 'Give it a go' cover crop demonstration to see how they are tracking and hear about Murray's practical considerations necessary when implementing such trials.

The day concludes with a short wrap-up and evaluation session, offering a chance to reflect and share insights.

When: Friday, August 22nd, 1:30pm - 5:30pm

Please arrive from 1:15pm.

Where: Starting at King River Avocados - 23 Newman Rd, Millbrook. The day will finish up at Oranje Tractor Wines - 198 Link Rd, Marbelup.

Cost: Free. Catering provided - please indicate your dietary requirements at checkout.


The 'Give it a go' demonstrations and field walk are part of RegenWA’s project, Accelerating Regenerative Agriculture Adoption, which aims to increase the uptake of evidence-based regenerative agriculture practices across Western Australia.

The project, funded by the Western Australian Government’s State NRM Program, aims to empower Western Australian farmers with knowledge, skills, networks and access to local demonstrations to apply regenerative practices based on their context.
