Why We’re Here
Join us at Newcastle Interchange as we take action against dangerous new legislation that threatens the democratic rights of all Australians. This legislation isn’t just a union issue; it undermines our right to a fair trial, the rule of law, and freedom of association. If we don’t act now, it could impact every community and organisation, from churches to volunteer groups.
What We’ll Be Doing
- Talking to Commuters: We’ll be engaging with people passing through Newcastle Interchange, sharing information about why this law poses a danger to everyone.
- Petition Sign-Up: We’ll have a station for people to sign up and support our call to scrap this law.
- Stickers and Corflutes: Supporters can take home corflutes and stickers to help spread the message in their communities.
- Campaign Support: Invite everyone to join the campaign and support events to challenge this unfair legislation.
How You Can Get Involved
- Spread the Word: Tell your mates, family, and everyone you know to join us and help get the message out.
- Volunteer Your Time: Whether you’re available for a morning or afternoon shift, we need all hands on deck.
- Make Some Noise: Help us show the government we won’t stand for this attack on our rights.
This Fight Needs You
It’s about more than just one union—it’s about protecting everyone’s rights. Come down to Newcastle Interchange, and let’s make sure our voices are heard loud and clear.
See you there.
