Event description

Kathy will take you through using a commercial sewing pattern.

We'll look at standard single layer patterns and the iconic Burda pattern sheets.

Learn how to use the tools of the trade:

  • pattern wheel

  • carbon paper

  • tailor's chalk

  • weights vs pins

  • rotary cutter

Review the samples on hand or bring your own for specific input.

We'll also touch briefly on pattern alteration.
