Rally for the Tingles - Bus from Denmark
Event description
Nornalup’s ancient Tingle forests are one of WA’s most famous tourism drawcards. Yet they are under threat from unnecessary prescribed burning this summer. Come along to show your support for protecting the Tingles and hear about other ways to make Southwest towns bushfire safe without destroying the forests.
Important Information: Bus to Settlers Park, Nornalup
Parking at Settlers Park in Nornalup is limited, so we encourage those traveling from Denmark to take the bus.
The bus will depart from the Denmark Visitors Centre at 8:30 AM on Saturday, 18 January 2025 and will return from Nornalup at 12:00 PM.
It will make a stop at Happy Valley Road carpark adjacent to the Highway between 8.45 and 9 to pick up people from the William Bay area.
To secure your seat on the bus, please register by purchasing a $10 ticket. Seats are limited, so be sure to book early.
The cost of the bus is subsidised by FABWA, and if you’d like to contribute more, donations are greatly appreciated.
