2025 School Holiday Musical Theatre Program: WICKED Theme

Kick off the new year with a bang at Denmark Dance Company's Summer Musical Theatre Program! This January, we’re thrilled to explore the enchanting world of Wicked over three unforgettable days filled with singing, dancing, and acting.

Program Details:
Ages: 8-13 years
Dates: January 14th to 16th, 2025
Hours: Daily from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Thursday until 3:30 PM
Venue: Denmark Civic Centre

This isn’t just another holiday program — it’s a chance to step into the magical world of Wicked and bring its empowering themes to life on stage! Through this program, students will develop new performance skills, build confidence, and create lasting friendships.

Highlights of the Program:
🎶 Sing with Expression: Dive into the powerful songs of Wicked like Defying Gravity and Dancing Through Life.
💃 Dance and Perform: Learn dynamic choreography, having fun with creative props.
🎭 Acting and Stage Presence: Step into characters with confidence and charisma.
🌟 Collaborate Creatively: Co-create the script and choreography alongside fellow students, making the performance uniquely theirs.

End on a High Note:
The program wraps up with a community showcase where students perform their work for family and friends, celebrating their growth and achievements.
