Covering small-town club events to the international US Indianapolis 500, Dennis has regularly contributed to major media outlets including The Daily Telegraph, Seven and Nine television networks and on the airwaves 2WS, 2GB and 2UE. In the late 2000s, he hosted his own show on 2SM.

Dennis is widely recognised as the “…walking encyclopedia of Speedway” sharing his vast knowledge and remarkable ability to recall times, dates, places, events and results without the aid of reference material. He is recognised as one of the leading historians of the sport.
