New Specialist Disability Employment Program - RFT Exposure Draft Webinar

Join the Department of Social Services Group Manager, Disability Employment - Kellie Spence, as she outlines key elements of the Exposure Draft released publicly last week. This event will provide you with the latest information on the new specialist disability employment program due to commence 1 July 2025. There will be an opportunity to ask questions on the new disability employment program and provide feedback. This is an accessible live streamed event.

Each event will take no more than 1.5 hours. The event will include approximately 45 minutes of presentation, and the remainder available for interactive Q&A.

Here’s what you can expect:

• An overview of the policy - provided by the Ms Kellie Spence, Group Manager, Disability Employment Group. It will include the vision for the new disability employment program and how it will impact participants, employers and service providers.
• An overview of the procurement elements – provided by Ms Jacinda Still, Branch Manager, DES Reform Program Implementation Branch.
• A Q&A session – with leaders and subject matter experts including Ms Jacinda Still, Branch Manager, DES Reform Program Implementation Branch.
• Network – have an opportunity to hear feedback and questions arising from across the disability sector.
