    Event description

NOTE: This class is asynchronous and does not meet at set times. Please ignore the time information included on this page.

The difference between a good piece of narrative and a great work of fiction are excellent descriptions. This asynchronous workshop is for writers who either struggle to describe people and/or settings or for those who need help honing this essential writing skill. We'll provide short writing exercises and group discussions that'll give you a set of tools to develop and elevate your descriptions in narrative. Whether you're just starting a project or neck-deep in revisions, this bootcamp will level up your writing.

This asynchronous course is for all prose writers, fiction or non-fiction, at any skill level. The materials are not exclusive to descriptions about characters and cultures whose identities are very different to your own.
