Desert Plants and Survival

Come Hike with Us! This in-person event will be held at the beautiful Skyline Park in Buckeye Arizona, off of Watson Rd.  We will meet at the main trailhead at the ramada by the bridge.   This easy, wheelchair-accessible hike, will take about an hour and a half.  On this hike, we will stop to stretch, and talk about the desert plants and animals along the way.  We will also talk about basic survival techniques for various scenarios such as what to do if you get a bit by a rattlesnake, how to stay hydrated if you run out of water and what to do if you get lost hiking.
