Design and Film CreateAthon: Adobe vs. Affinity, Apple, Canva, CapCut, DaVinci and Final Cut Pro

The Urban Mediamakers Design and Film CreateAthon is a high-energy, 24-hour creative hackathon inside the 24th Urban Mediamakers Film Festival (UMFF). This is your chance to collaborate, innovate, and showcase your talent in front of live and global audiences.

How It Works:

• Teams compete in two tracks:

  • Film Track: Create a short film (3 minutes or less).

  • Design Track: Create a full campaign (poster, social media assets, and brand graphics).

• Each team will be paired with a mentor experienced in using one of the world’s leading creative platforms.

• Platforms featured in this year’s CreateAthon include:

  • Adobe Creative Cloud

  • Canva

  • Affinity

  • Apple / Final Cut Pro

  • DaVinci Resolve

• This is your chance to show what’s possible when creators go head-to-head using the tools that shape the future of storytelling.

• Final projects will be screened and showcased live at UMFF and streamed worldwide.
