Event description

Want to customise your clothing, bags, curtains… basically any fabric?

Join us for this beginners textile printing class and learn the whole textile printing process! 

Through the class you will learn how to textile print using a range of affordable and easy to source materials. 

Your teacher Emilie will support you throughout the workshop to create your own design and print it onto your very own tote bag - that you will get to take home at the end of the class!

There is no need for previous experience and all materials, including the bag, are covered in the cost!

  • Tips to achieve great results in textile printing at home

Who will be teaching? 

Emilie is a Melbourne based artist and maker, currently finishing her PhD at the Victorian College of the Arts. 

She moved from France and 2014 and has been developing her art practice since, working with a range of media, from video to printmaking and 3D printing. 

Emilie is also a comic book artists. Her illustration has been published by the Lifted Brow, and she self-published her first graphic novel in 2018 with Tree Paper Comics in Melbourne.
