A panel discussion focused on design as an evolving profession, and how design is transforming through collaborative practice and technological advancement.
Presented by Design Institute Australia, this one hour panel session focuses on design as an evolving profession:
· all the ways design is transforming through collaborative practice and technological advancement
· the challenge of defining design and why this is important
· the role of designers into the future
Panelists will include:
- Laura Kostanski, CSIRO (Laura has been fundamental to the work on the ANZSCO occupation profiles
- Karen Webster, Creative Victoria, sharing insights into evolution in the fashion and gaming industries and how these two are crossing over in interesting ways
- Third speaker TBC
