Design Doing Bootcamp

A bootcamp for design leaders who need to deliver great outcomes online.

Design thinking is a powerful approach to creative problem-solving using a human-centred lens. As we adapt to the times, it's more important than ever to understand the human experiences at the heart of the problems we're facing, and to experiment our way towards new solutions.

This bootcamp will equip you with all the skills and tools you need to take this design thinking process online, working collaboratively and effectively to create new value for your customers and users.

From user empathy, research and discovery through to landing on a clear definition of the problems and bringing your best ideas to life through prototypes, we'll share all of our favourite tools and insights to help you get the most out of design thinking in a virtual environment.

Our learning style is fast-paced, hands-on and immersive. You'll be applying new skills and mindsets as you learn them, and you'll walk away with a bundle of new tools to use in your work.

What you'll learn:

⚡️ Design thinking fundamentals.

Understand the core principles of the design thinking process, and explore case studies on how design thinking has impacted organisations world-wide.

⚡️ Putting your customer first.

Learn why empathy and deep customer research enable the most powerful solutions to be found.

⚡️ Validating your ideas through prototyping.

Learn how to quickly and cheaply test your assumptions, get feedback, and improve your prototypes in a rapid iterative cycle

⚡️ Taking design thinking online.

Discover the virtual collaboration tools and approaches you'll need to run effective design processes online with remote teams.

This bootcamp will be delivered online via Zoom at 9:30am - 12:30pm AWST / 12:30pm - 3:30pm AEDT.
