Laura Majer - IP Australia
Laura Majer is a Senior Design Examiner at IP Australia. She has a Bachelor of Education from the Australian Catholic University and experience working in both the education and care/support sectors. She has worked at IP Australia for the past 8 years, originally starting in trade marks in 2017, she then moved across to the design section in 2019. Laura is currently working as a coach in the designs training sector, onboarding the new design examiner trainees.

Louise Burr - Perky Pod
Louise is the Chief Plant Mum (Founder/Director) of Perky Pod Pty Ltd. She will be sharing her unique insights into registered design rights from the perspective of a small business owner.

Keeley Pasfield - Moderator
Keeley is an Assistant Director in IP Australia's Public Education team. Keeley began her career as an exercise physiologist in the health sector. During this time, she ran a small business as a sole trader specialising in high performance with track and field athletes, before a career change into Intellectual Property. She has held multiple roles at IP Australia since 2019, working within trade mark examination, people and training, executive support and more recently customer experience.
