Design Your 2026
Description
Tools for Changemakers: Design Your 2026
Every new year the same question gets asked: “What are your goals for the year ahead?”
For many women and gender-diverse leaders working in climate and environment, the question doesn’t spark clarity — it sparks a quiet hesitation.
Not because our fire has dimmed, but because the systems we lead in are:
Uncertain
Accelerating
Non-linear
Deeply interconnected
Shaped by forces larger than ourselves
We’ve been taught to plan for a predictable world. But we’re leading through climate disruption, political volatility, ecological tipping points, and community adaptation.
That work isn’t strengthened by goal discipline alone — it’s strengthened by expanding our identity, inner capacity, networks, resilience, and structures of support.
For 2026, the question to ask first isn’t: “What will I achieve?”
It’s: “Who must I become to meet what is emerging in the world, and what will sustain me as I lead through it?”
In this refreshed Design Your 2026 workshop, you will:
Locate your most grounded, resourced leader-self
Design your year around identity, rest and connection
Build capacity for impact without burnout
Map the conditions that help you thrive while driving climate and environmental change
