Designer Lunch and Learn: 2hr Advanced Florida Building Code + 2 Bonus CEUs

Join ASID-FLWC and Clive Daniel Home Sarasota for a Lunch and Learn including the Florida 2 Hour Florida Building Code for Florida Registered Interior Designers.

The schedule is as follows: 

• 1:00-3:00 PM, 2hr Advanced Florida Building Code, Presented by John Farinelli, JC Code & Construction Consultants

• 3:00-4:00 PM, Lutron CEU (working on course), Presented by Joe Breese (and Norman Rosenberg), Lutron/Rosenberg Interior Technologists

In addition to the 2Hr Advanced Florida Building Code CEU will will have 2 bonus HSW CEUs:

3-4 pm provided by Lutron 

4-5 pm provided by Martha Graham Lighting 

Cost is $99 for ASID Members, $120 for non-members. 

Lunch will be provided along with 2 additional IDCEC Approved - Health - Safety - Welfare CEUs, followed by a BOAID approved 2hr Advanced Florida Building Code course, for a total of 4 CEUs. 

Florida Interior Designers are required to complete 20 hours of continuing education every 2 years. The continuing education is due on February 28th of odd years. A

minimum of 14 hours in health, safety and welfare (HSW) related courses, 2 hours in Florida Building Code advanced courses, and 4 hours in optional or HSW are required.

The Florida Building Code Advanced will be presented by John Farinelli, CBO, MCP, CFM, FSI 1, LEED AP, Vice President, JC Code & Construction Consultants, Inc.

• 25 years’ in building code administration as a building inspector, plan reviewer and building official in the State of Florida
• ICC Master Code Professional
• 28 International Code Council (ICC) certifications
• F.S. 468 Licensed building code administrator, plans examiner and inspector in all disciplines
• F.S. 633 Licensed Fire Inspector I
• F.S. 489 Registered building contractor
• LEED AP
