Event description

“There's an old Chinese proverb that says that your house is never finished until you die,"
says Rosslyn de Souza.

How can you adapt your living environment to suit your season? Our friends Rosslyn and Ian de Souza are opening their beautiful home to contemplate this bold question.

Ian is one of Fremantle’s most celebrated artists, while Ros was recently named 2025 Community Citizen of the Year for her generous contributions to Fremantle's cultural landscape. Together, they live a life of creativity and agency.

We invite you to enjoy this iconic Fremantle home through a new (wintery!) lens. Share wine and conversation around the fire as Ian and Ros discuss the evolution of their space, how they inhabit it, and how we might live more fully without regard for convention.

Your ticket includes a glass of wine and nibbles.
