Travel instructions

Transportation: We encourage you to take public transit, bike, walk, rideshare, or use paratransit. Public Transit: - VTA bus lines 61 and 25 both stop one block away from the Summit, at Bascom Ave and Renova Dr. - VTA bus lines 23 and Rapid 523 both stop at Bascom and San Carlos St, 0.6 miles from the Summit, a 12-minute walk. - VTA's Green light rail line stop at Fruitvale is 1.1 miles from the Summit, a 23-minute walk on city streets and through campus. Parking: - Parking on campus may be a flat $3. - See a detailed map of parking options here, including options closest to the Summit labeled as "A" and "B." https://www.sjcc.edu/_resources/PDF/campus_map/sjcc_campus_map_2025.pdf - There are disabled parking spaces with ramps closest to the Summit off Bascom Avenue and Moorpark Avenue, labeled as "A" and "Staff Parking" on the map. - There is also 2-hour, free street parking right next to the Summit on Moorpark Ave, though it is a one-way street, so you'd want to enter Moorpark from Bascom to find these parking spots.

Entry instructions

The event is located at San Jose City College off Moorpark Ave. The Technology Center where the Summit will be held is at the corner of Bascom Ave & Moorpark Ave in Midtown San Jose. The Summit is on the 4th floor of this building, in room T-415, Auditorium Technology Conference Room. The Quiet Room is in T-402 Conference Room. There are two entrances to the Technology Center, one right next to the southeast intersection of Bascom Ave and Moorpark Ave and another to the southeast of the building inside San Jose City College's Campus. There will be greeters and signs outside pointing you to the Summit. Entering from either side, you'll come down a hallway until you see the elevator in the main part of that hallway.

After entry instructions

Take the stairs or elevator to the 4th floor. Look for the signs pointing you around the corner and down the hall to T415, the Auditorium Technology Conference Room.

Hazards

One of the two elevators is currently out of order. The other functions fine.

Toilet location

Restrooms are located on each floor. On the 4th floor where the Summit will be held, they will be right in front of the elevators as you come out of them.
