Designing for web accessibility - November/December

Make your designs accessible, and share their beauty with everyone. Explore UI and interaction design principles that contribute to creating barrier-free experiences. This is great for visual and UX designers, and digital professionals.


Learning outcomes

In this course, you will learn about:

  • improving readability using colour, layout and spacing
  • how responsive design supports UI customisation
  • accessible alternatives for media and images
  • structuring content for easy navigation
  • designing for keyboard, pointer and voice interaction
  • creating accessible forms.

Knowledge level

  • Basic knowledge of UI design required
  • No prior accessibility knowledge is needed

Technology requirements

To participate in this course, attendees will need to install:

  • FigJam
  • Slido

These technologies are freely available. We will work with you if you have environment restrictions that prevent you from installing new software.

  • Individual registration: $800+ GST
  • Group registration (4 or more): $750+ GST

If notification of cancellation is received by Intopia:
