Event description

Crackpot Studios and Gallery is proud to present the launch of our space in Freshwater with the exhibition "Desire to Inspire".

"Desire to Inspire" will be an illustration of the outstanding skills of the ceramic teachers at Northern Beaches TAFE NSW, Brookvale. 

The nine teachers Janine Brody, Peter Dwyer, Simone Fraser, Malcolm Greenwood, Warren Hogden, Chris James, Samantha Perks, Nina Matthewson, Hayden Youlley have had many years in the ceramic world both in creative studios, industry and inspirational teaching to many students over the years. Their work will demonstrate the nature of clay with exhibits from functional through to sculptural pieces.

The Opening Night on Thursday 20th May 2021, 6- 8pm will be the official launch of our gallery by Michael Regan, Northern Beaches Mayor, music by  Ensemble Assorti and the teachers will be in the gallery to discuss their works, which will be available for purchase.

This is a free event, come along and have a glass of wine and immerse yourself in an art and music filled evening.
