Jessica Roth | Founder & Director at Social Impact Hub
Presenter

Jessica is the Founder and Director of the Social Impact Hub. The Social Impact Hub advises, educates, collaborates and mobilises capital for impact. Jessica is also a consultant to the impact investment sector, having served as the Impact Strategist for Blue River Group, an independent impact investment services firm, and opened the Sydney office of Impact Investment Group. Previously, Jessica was a Solicitor at King & Wood Mallesons in Sydney. She holds a B.A. and LL.B. (with First Class Honours) from UNSW and a LL.M. from Harvard Law School, where she was the recipient of the R.G. Menzies Scholarship to Harvard, and she studied social entrepreneurship, philanthropy and impact investing.

Kylie Charlton is the chief investment officer of and represents Australian Impact Investments as a venture partner for the Giant Leap VC fund. Kylie has worked in Australia and internationally at the intersection of mainstream capital markets, impact investment and philanthropy since 2004. She is a co-founder of Unitus Capital, a member of the Investment Committee for the DFAT supported Investing in Women initiative of Patamar Capital, Co-Deputy Chair for RIAA’s Impact Investing Forum and sessional lecturer for impact investment at the University of New South Wales. Prior to moving her career into impact investment, Kylie spent 11 years in commercial and investment banking.

Emily Albert | Executive Director at Alberts

Emily is Executive Director and Head of Impact at Alberts, having worked for two decades with corporates and non-profits designing sustainability and impact strategies. At Alberts, Emily works with the Impact Ventures team investing in early-stage pioneering Australian businesses out to create a better tomorrow. She is passionate about leaving the world in better shape for future generations by supporting pioneering ideas and individuals.

Anthony Bohm | Founding Partner at Pangaea Impact Investments

Anthony founded and now runs Pangaea Impact Investments, together with his wife Karen. He serves as a mentor or Non-Executive Director for a number of his investments. Anthony has significant global entrepreneurship experience and knowledge of the education sector having grown and sold both Think: Education Group and Open Colleges Australia.
