Developing an AHA framework – why we did it, how we did it and our key learnings.

The Royal rehab group are committed to bringing services to all no matter where you live. With this commitment  RR Lifeworks was launched. As a new and growing service, Royal Rehab LifeWorks quickly identified the need for a thoughtful and planned approach to employing and managing AHAs  in their service. to assist in ensuring clients have access to timely effective services.

Although it seemed like a significant undertaking, it was clear that AHA’s were growing as important and integral members of the Allied Health team.and future expansion of this service was also integral for service delivery.  It was important to develop a framework that would assist the organisation to provide a clear scope and definition of the AHA role. This would greatly improve the support provided to the AHA’s within the service, not only for better patient outcomes but also to create a great workplace culture. It's also been recognised that AHP's who have a better understanding of the AHA role, can more appropriately delegate tasks that will allow all team members to safely and efficiently work to the top of their scope, greatly improving employee job satisfaction.

In this one-hour webinar, Lara Fernandez, Allied Health Educator, will walk us through the specific process they used to prepare and implement their AHA framework and the key steps in implementing it. The framework review process will also be discussed along with key learnings.

Webinar attendees can expect to gain an understanding of:

  • Why developing an AHA framework is beneficial for both the organisation and its employees
  • The process Royal Rehab Lifeworks undertook to develop their AHA framework and how it might apply to your organisation (or impact you as an AHA)
  • Key steps to implement the framework
  • Key learnings to takeaway and apply in your workplace

This webinar is designed for people who work in organisations/services who employ AHA’s – be it AHA’s themselves, operational managers, HR team members and anyone interested in enhancing employee engagement and development for better utilisation, productivity, outcomes and job satisfaction.

This webinar will include a presentation with Q&A and discussion.
