With this commitment RR Lifeworks was launched. As a new and growing service, Royal Rehab LifeWorks quickly identified the need for a thoughtful and planned approach to employing and managing AHAs in their service, to assist in ensuring that clients have access to timely and effective services. Although it seemed like a significant undertaking, it was clear that AHAs were growing as important and integral members of the Allied Health team, and future expansion of this service was also integral for service delivery. It was important to develop a framework that would assist the organisation to provide a clear scope and definition of the AHA role. This would greatly improve the support provided to the AHAs within the service, not only for better patient outcomes but also to create a great workplace culture. It's also been recognised that AHPs who have a better understanding of the AHA role can more appropriately delegate tasks that will allow all team members to safely and efficiently work to the top of their scope, greatly improving employee job satisfaction. In this one-hour webinar, Lara Fernandez, Allied Health Educator, will walk us through the specific process they used to prepare their AHA framework and the key steps in implementing it.
