Devi Mamak and the Caravan Band are a world fusion ensemble who perform original compositions and arrangements with a classical and jazz flair. The band is led by classically trained pianist, composer, and internationally renowned modern fusion belly dancer Devi Mamak.
Devi has combined her knowledge of classical music, her fascination with jazz, and her love of world music to compose and arrange original works that are mysterious, eclectic, passionate, and multilayered - sometimes soothing to the soul and sometimes irresistibly danceable - the music takes audiences on a rich and engaging journey.
Each band member brings a wealth of talent and experience to the ensemble, helping to create a truly unique and captivating soundscape.
The band will be accompanied by dancer Jrisi Jusakos, adding a beautiful visual element to the performance featuring traditional and contemporary dance styles and creating a memorable and immersive evening of music and dance.
