Devonport Community Crèche’s 30th Birthday
Event description
Support Devonport Community Crèche and help us celebrate 30 years of whānau, community and learning!
This special event is a chance to honour the people and kaupapa that have shaped the Devonport Community Crèche. We’ll be celebrating 30 years on Clarence Street and recognising the incredible contribution of our beloved centre manager, Tessa Dunleavy who has been with us since day one.
Join us at the Stone Oven for an enjoyable evening of delicious nibbles, a silent auction (featuring art from crèche dad and local artist, Rob Tucker), and music from one of the Te Motu DJs. A cash bar will be available on the night, with all proceeds from Te Motu wine sales going directly to support the crèche.
At a time when so many other non-profit early childhood centres have sadly closed their doors, our crèche is still standing thanks to the strength of our community! This event is a chance to fundraise for crèche to ensure we can keep doing what we do best for tamariki, while also celebrating the dedicated kaiako who have been part of this incredible 30-year journey with us.
Tickets are limited, so get in quick! Whether you're a past or present whānau, neighbour, or friend of the crèche, we’d love to see you there.
*Please note this is an adults-only evening (R-20). Book the babysitter, we're swapping play dough for pinot!
