Diabetes NZ Auckland Youth: Butterfly Creek
Event description
Diabetes NZ Auckland Youth would love to invite your whānau to Butterfly Creek this November for Diabetes Action Month. Come along for a family outing to meet others within the diabetes community. We will start with a BYO picnic lunch and play within the private Rocket Ropes location, then move into Butterfly Creek to explore the butterflies, crocodiles, dinosaurs and have a ride around the lake on the train.
This event is open to all aged youth and children with diabetes along with their family and is a great opportunity for youth and children to meet new friends or re-connect with mates that also have diabetes. Plus, for parents and whānau this is a chance to make connections and gain support no matter where you are at in the diabetes journey. We would love to have you along and support each other.
Youth Leaders get in touch if you can help out.
