Diabetes NZ Auckland Youth: Online Education Spring Series #1 - Diabetes Distress
Event description
Diabetes NZ Auckland Youth are hosting a series of diabetes education sessions featuring experts from the Starship Children's Hospital diabetes team. These sessions will be delivered via Zoom for all whānau within Auckland and the rest of New Zealand.
This first education session will cover diabetes distress, what it is, why it happens and ways to cope. We welcome Jessica Hardley (Clinical Psychologist for Paediatric Diabetes) to present this session. Any questions you wish to ask, please email to Jessica (jhardley@adhb.govt.nz) at least a few days before the presentation please.
Look out for more education sessions on a variety of topics coming soon. These sessions are provided free of charge, however if you would like to make a donation towards in-person events, that would be appreciated.
