Diabetes NZ BOP/Lakes Youth: aMAZEme Family Event

Join Diabetes NZ Bay of Plenty/Lakes Youth for a fun-filled Family Day at aMAZEme in Rotorua!

This exciting activity day is designed for youth with diabetes from Tauranga, Eastern Bay of Plenty, Rotorua, and Taupō areas, along with their whānau. It’s a chance to enjoy the outdoors, connect with others in the diabetes community, and have a fantastic time with the family.

Explore the Maze: Test your navigation skills in the 1.4km outdoor maze. Can you find your way out?

Picnic Fun: After completing the maze, settle down for a relaxing family picnic.

Enjoy lawn games, and get up close with adorable rabbits in the walk-in cage for a unique animal interaction experience.

What to Bring:

- A picnic for your family.

- Hats and sunblock to stay sun-smart.

- A rain jacket or umbrella, just in case of wet weather.

This is a fantastic opportunity to Build Connections with other families who also have children with diabetes.

Spend quality time together in a beautiful and fun environment. and create lasting memories with your family and community.

Please note that each person that attends this event will require a ticket and all children will need to be supervised by their parents/caregivers.
