Diabetes NZ Nelson Youth: Top of the South Family Camp 2025
Event description
Diabetes NZ Nelson Youth is back with a Live Brave Mana Ora Family Camp for 2025 and this year, we are heading to Bridge Valley Adventure Centre!
The Diabetes NZ Nelson Youth Family Camp 2025 is for young people living with diabetes from the Nelson, Tasman, Marlborough* and West Coast areas and their whānau.
Come along and enjoy the opportunity to try out the amazing activities on offer, including kayaking, laser tag and a luge, while meeting other youth with diabetes and their families.
This video was taken at our Tauranga Family Camp; facilities and activities may vary.
All meals are catered for under the guidance of a dietitian, and medical staff will be available for education at times throughout the weekend. Diabetes care is to be managed by the families.
Once cabin allocations have been exhausted, there may be tent space available.
Day visits are available for Saturday 22 February for those unable to attend a full weekend.
The cost of attending Family Camp is highly subsidised thanks to generous grant funding and local fundraising. *If you are intending to come to Camp from Blenheim or Marlborough, please email amanda@diabetes.org.nz. With thanks to Blenheim Lions Club, we are able to offer support for registration costs. Find out how by emailing now.
