Diabetes NZ Southland Youth: Family Bike Ride & Pizza
Event description
Come along to our family event hosted by Diabetes NZ Southland Youth for a 9km bike ride that encircles the entire Winton township, called the loop track! This event is for youth living with diabetes in the Southland region and their whānau.
After our bike ride we will be heading to the Top Pub and Garden Bar (333 Great North Road, Winton) for pizza, which gives us a chance to catch up and connect with our youth living with Type 1 Diabetes and their supportive families.
Remember to bring your helmets and high viz for the little ones. Starting point will be at the Moore Road Carpark in Winton, just over the one-way bridge on your left-hand side.
The cost of the pizza will be subsidised thanks to a donation from the Waihopai Lions Club, however a koha would be appreciated. Donations can be made via Humanitix at the time of registering.
