Event description

Straight Talk on SEO, Social & AI for Local Businesses

Free event from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. Refreshments provided.

Running a small business means wearing a lot of different hats. So, when people start talking about SEO, social media and lately, AI, it can often sound overwhelming. But getting the word out, being seen online and making the most of new technology shouldn’t be just another headache…

The DigiGrow Roadshow is here to cut through the tech jargon and give you some practical ideas to help you grow your business and save time – especially when you can’t always be online at the same time as your customers! Whether you run a bakery, café, motel, pub, newsagent, general store, tradie service, or even if you’re an artist, there will be something for you at this event.

Here’s what we’ll be talking about:

Getting Found Online

Websites, Google & SEO essentials. Learn 5 quick checks to make sure you are being found when people search for what you’ve got e.g. “coffee near me” or “mechanic Cloncurry.” We will also touch on how what you do offline has a way of ending up online – that’s why it’s important to make sure customers not only have a great experience but also let others know about it.

Social Media Content Strategy

Stop wondering what to post about on social media. Fact: every business has interesting things to share if you just know where to look. Let’s talk about 5 specific types of content and how they can work for your business.  Plus, when you should put your content up as a story, a reel or a regular post.

What About AI?

Everyone’s talking about AI lately, but what does it actually mean for a small business in remote northwest Queensland? Let’s check out how AI can do some of the boring stuff, help you plan that social media content, brainstorm ideas, and more. And, yes, as well as the benefits we’ll also talk about the current limitations of AI.

Bonus: Live & Jobs NWQ

A quick look at a new free platform where you can promote your business and advertise local jobs.

Please RSVP for this free event.
