Digital Health Consumer Roundtable - Youth
Event description
What: A 90-minute hybrid in-person and online community conversation to explore the Electronic Medical Record from the perspective of young people aged 16-25. The session is also open to parents and carers. We want to understand your hopes and concerns about the EMR – a significant digital transformation that is coming to Western Australia from 2027-28
Where is the in-person session? At Perth Children’s Hospital in X Room
Payment: You will be paid $75 for attendance.
Background information: WA is the last state or territory to get an Electronic Medical Record for our public hospitals. It is a big infrastructure project requiring significant investment. This will be in place by about 2028, so it’s early days. It’s important that we talk to young people about your concerns and hopes for an electronic medical record as this project gets momentum.
Who: We would like to speak to young people who have
accessed a health service in the last five years for any reason,
especially if you have transitioned from Perth Children’s to an adult health service.
We are also looking for parents and carers of young people who have accessed a WA Health service in the last five years.
Places are strictly limited, register your interest to apply. Selected attendees will be notified and receive a Zoom link. Attendees are offered a $75 consumer payment.
