Held at the City Library, our friendly group of volunteers can assist you in a one-on-one learning environment on Microsoft specific software questions
Topics include:
- Windows 10 or 11
- Navigation
- Internet or email basics
- File exploration and photo storage
- Microsoft Office
- Excel - Navigation and function basics
- Word - Navigation and formatting basics
- Online Safety
- Learn how to protect your digital footprint
- Setting up two-factor authentication
- Scam-proof your mindset
- Discover online resources that help and extend your knowledge
- Resume Formatting
- Help fix the layout of your resume
- Choose fonts and colours that pop
- Add line breaks and styles that increase readability
Please be aware that one-on-one sessions are to be considered training sessions only and should not be taken as tech support. Examples include:

Please note that sessions will not be available for registration more than 30 days in advance.
Volunteers and staff are not able to guarantee that a patron’s future training sessions will be with the same volunteer. Library staff can only book similar time slots, but sessions are dependent on volunteer availability, and may be covered by other volunteers.
