Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TripAdvisor – names you’ve probably heard, but do you know how to use these rapidly growing platforms to promote your business and engage with current and potential customers?

This session examines a range of digital marketing options, including social media, email marketing and blogging, to help you understand what would work for your business. 

This topic covers:
  • the best social media platforms to use for your customers
  • how often to post
  • in-depth looks at Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest and Instagram
  • ideas for creating content
  • an introduction to blogging
  • email marketing
  • mobile marketing
  • understanding online review sites

    You'll receive a practical workbook that will help you to clarify your digital marketing strategy, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions.

    This session is the ideal starting point if you’re feeling overwhelmed by social media. Or perhaps you’ve set up your Facebook page and aren’t getting the results you expected.

    This is an entry level workshop for people with little or no understanding of social media, or for those who are currently only using it in their personal lives.

    This workshop is presented by the Small Business Development Corporation, a Western Australian Government agency that helps small business owners to start well, survive and thrive. We offer free resources, business advice and low cost workshops covering what you need to know to boost your chance of business success. Turn to us for free, practical support to help your small business journey run smoothly.

    Bookings are limited to two tickets each, however you can make more than one booking. If you are booking for more than one person, please provide each person's email address so they receive our emails with important links and downloads.

    If you cannot attend, please cancel so your place can be made available to another business owner. You can cancel your booking from the update order button on your order confirmation email. Cancellations and refunds for paid workshops can be made up to 24 hours before the workshop starts.
