Digital Pathways: Digital research - affordable tools to make better decisions
Event description
Being able to conduct good research gives you access to stories that come straight from those who use or deliver your services. It helps you meet needs, make confident decisions, and design services. It also provides credible evidence for funders and partners, whether you are demonstrating a social need for your services or proving your funded project’s real-world impact.
In this session, we will cover some low-cost digital approaches and online tools that make collecting and analysing feedback quick, easy, accurate, and affordable. You will get clear best practice tips on writing good questionnaires, reaching your target audiences, making sense of results, and, above all, keeping everything both inclusive and ethical.
We will signpost you to trustworthy sources of existing data, so you do not start from scratch, and will show where to find extra help: from templates, guidance to one-to-one support.
We will also share some opportunities to be involved in important research that affects the Scottish Third Sector.
