Dinner and conversation with Lillian Mugisha
Description
Dinner with Lillian Mugisha — an evening at The Wave, Opunake
What is it really like to be sponsored as a child? What daily difference does it make? And what happens when a child finishes the programme?
Join us for this free event and hear directly from Lillian Mugisha, a former sponsored child from Uganda, as she shares exactly what it's like to be on the receiving end of child sponsorship. Growing up, Lillian experienced deep poverty and hardship — everything changed when she became part of Compassion's child development programme. Today she's an advocate, leader and living proof of the lasting impact of sponsorship.
Over dinner, you'll have the opportunity to hear Lillian's journey in her own words and ask your own questions about her experience.
Dinner is complimentary and kindly hosted by The Wave. We'd love you to join us.
Doors open from 5pm.
Dinner served at 5.45pm, followed by presentation and Q&A.
