Dinner with the Stars at Lanyon Homestead

Dinner with the stars is the perfect night out. Whether it's with your sweetheart, a family adventure or a group of friends, this evening will amaze and entertain you.

The experience starts with an introductory presentation on what to look for in the night sky and a delicious 2-course meal at the Homestead Café and Restaurant. The café is proudly operated by Embrace Disability Group, a local social enterprise creating meaningful employment and training opportunities for people living with disabilities.

You will then move out into the grounds to explore the heavens through powerful telescopes and learn more about the mysteries of the night sky. 

Close to town but far enough away to be able to see the magic of the universe, get yourself ready for a very special night out. A partnership program with Mt Stromlo Observatory. 

Please note that a large portion of this event will be held outside, please dress according to the weather.

Guests will be seated at shared tables of 8-10. Parties wishing to sit together are required to book all guests within the one transaction.

• Lamb shank, sweet potato purée, crisp garden peas, baby carrots, red wine jus (gf)

• Rosemary, mustard and cider chicken, garlic mashed potato, wilted spinach, buttered carrots, blistered tomatoes 

• Mushroom and parmesan risotto (v)

DESSERT

(served alternately)

• Lemon meringue tart, white chocolate and pistachio crumb

• Sticky date pudding, butterscotch, vanilla bean ice cream, berries

Children under 12 - includes soft drink and ice cream

• Spaghetti bolognese (gf on request)
