Description

Dinosaur Discovery at The Caves

Discover the history of dinosaurs on the Bass Coast, hunt for fossils and see a dinosaur footprint on the rock platforms.

You will see fault lines from ancient earthquakes, petrified trees from the age of the dinosaurs, followed by rock breaking to possibly find a fossil yourself.

After visiting The Caves, rock breaking is conducted at the Wallace Avenue Community Park, Inverloch. You get to keep any fossils you find while rock breaking.
